      Blinds: fishy player

      $0.10/$0.20 No Limit Holdem
      5 Players
      Hand Conversion Powered by

      UTG ($45.94) 230bb
      hero (CO) ($20) 100bb
      BTN ($23.79) 119bb
      SB ($16.95) 85bb
      BB ($17.16) 86bb

      Pre-Flop: ($0.30, 5 players) hero is CO 9 9
1 fold, hero raises to $0.60, BTN calls $0.60, 2 folds

Don't have enough hands to put him on a good coldcalling range but pockets+strong broadways are in his range for sure.
Could be a lot wider because of the blinds.

      Flop: J Q 8 ($1.50, 2 players)
hero bets $1.20, BTN calls $1.20

Will he call me with weaker on this flop? Flushdraws maybe?
      I can't really c/c so i went for b/f once.

      Turn: 8 ($3.90, 2 players)
hero checks, BTN bets $2.50, hero folds

      Final Pot: $3.90

It's a spot where I don't like betting that much if you just plan on betting once. You get floated by TT, Jx and draws super often. Apart from that, Qx will obviously not fold either. The good thing is you get raised often by nut hands so you have an easy decision if that happens. Your decision is to check/fold or bet 3 streets imo. Betting 1 or 2 is not useful against someone that likes calling. 3 is also risky of course but you represent good strength against a capped range and will be successful quite often.
