not sure about this, villain is 18/15/4 AF:2.2 ftcb:36, fttb:2/3

i just see no freakin 8 in this nit's range vs my UTG open, he checks back any Jx, 2p so i think he has some Qx or a busted FD here almost always.... or some combo draw

i mean, busted draws and KQ was the only thing crossing my mind - and he probably raises KQ at some point

      Hi Zumpar,

      Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: What's the purpose of the double barrel?

Do we really have that much value versus, quoting, "his nitty range"? Or are you trying to get a better hand to fold by also betting river?

As played it's true that villain polarizes his range and he rarely has a 8x but I doubt he bets anything else that big. The 8x I see in his range are possible 88/89/A8, maybe 8T. 86 is quite loose so I wouldn't expect that.

u think a nit like this even has hands like 89s, A8s, T8s in his calling range vs UTG open? i find it hard to believe :D

yeah, i guess he has 88, but u think he calls turns with 88? not sure

the double barrel.... i kinda dont know why tbh.... i dont really wanna go into a c/c turn, c/f or c/bluffcatch river mode, c/f seems kinda weak give how many draws villain has, so idk, seems like an only option :D

So if you don't put those hands in his range which draws does he actually have?

      AQ? QJ?

      What else?

I can't see much of anything. KQ beats us, AK 3-bets preflop, KJ is ahead, etc.

So turn should be much closer to a ck/fold than you think, especially with your assumption of his nittines.
