      I have the best non-pair hand, so I cant bluff.
      Villain is PASSIVE, so he wont BLUFF me out of the pot if I check this. He's only going to bet hands which are better than mine. This would incline me to check.
      ev(check)>ev(bet), because if he's ahead, I'm burning money with a bet, but if Im ahead, he has probably 6 outs. Hes passive, so there are going to be NO hard decisions later on! I'd rather not bet, just to isolate myself.

      Hi.

      I don't mind just checking Flop and Turn (with the intention of folding). IMO fishes love bluffing Rivers the most as they love taking free cards on Flop and Turn and they will make desperation bluffs if they do not pick up any showdown value on the River.

      So I'll c/f F c/f T c/c R. I agree with your assessment on the situation, though I think it's more of a clear cut check in position, while you could make some arguments for just betting out to fold out his equity share on the Flop immediately. But I completely agree with you, no point betting and isolating ourselves vs better hands.
