      Grabbed by Holdem Manager
      NL Holdem $0.20(BB) Replayer
      SB ($56.57)
      Hero ($26.32)
      UTG ($19.58)
      CO ($16.39)
      BTN ($34.93)

      Dealt to Hero 8:spade: J:spade:

UTG calls $0.20, fold, fold, SB calls $0.10, Hero raises to $1, UTG calls $0.80, fold

      FLOP ($2.20) 9:heart: J:heart: 8:diamond:

Hero bets $1.90, UTG calls $1.90

      TURN ($6) 9:heart: J:heart: 8:diamond: Q:diamond:

Hero bets $1.50, UTG raises to $3, Hero folds

      UTG wins $8.55

      72/9/4.4, fcbet 80, agf turn 38, 65h

I decided to bet small for thin value and free showdown. I get calls from draws, AJ, KJ, J7s-J2s, 98.

Do you think this player could bluff raise vs my bet?

If I check turn, I am not sure if I can call, but probably if bet is small I have to call and reevaluate. He can bet with draw as well.

      Hi,

You can't bet for free showdown when you are OOP. That's not even a reason to bet, it's just something that happens on the side of your thin value bet or bluff that makes it easier to play, doesn't let your opponent play well against you.

I think turn is never a bet though imo.. It's a check and decide depending on sizing, timing or whatever you might know about him from previous hands. I don't think he is ever bluff raising you either.

I thougth there still is a chance that if I bet turn he will think that I have stronger range so check river.

That's dependant on opponent. You have to assume he thinks that, it has nothing to do with general game dynamic and flow of checking to the last aggressor. That's why IP it works so well: people check to the aggressor.
