Flop Fold to CB in 3BetPot: 0

I did 3Bet him preflop cuz he is folding a lot to 3Bets OOP so I thought maybe I can nick this pot preflop with my A high off
Did CB Flop for value - he's never folding there for some reason :f_cool:

I turned NUTS, so I just checked, then he Donked $4 into $7.25 Pot with $19 behind.

At this spot I didn't know wether Check-Raising or just Calling would get me more value.
I decided to Check-Raise minimum, so if he calls - my River value bet would not be as scary as River overbet would have been.

Was that better then just calling on the Turn in the long run?

Preflop: the 3b size is way too small. I will make it 2.50$ OOP.

Flop: i would just halfpot the Flop and barrel off.

Turn: if u do check the turn you should checkcall. His range is polarized between gutshots and AX. We should expect to stack AX anyway so i think raising the turn serves no purpose.

I see - could you please explain to me why I should 3Bet more?

Hm, but what if River completes a Flush or a Straight and he's got that Ax and I have to overbet All-In on scary River?
      He might fold then.
If I Check-Raise Turn and shove on scary River (if there is one) - I'm not overbetting - he is more commited and less likely to fold right?
      Or not? :f_biggrin:
