Is it ok to defend 88? Is it ok float once and give up turn? When he checks turn on Q, I was not sure if he has hit Q and wants me to spew or he has J so wants to pot control. So I am not sure if I should check back and fold river? On river is bet size ok? I was thinking to shove, and that it looks as bluff. I think he has rarely Tx here given the line, because Tx he probably bets on turn.

Preflop is fine imo. You have position, get good odds and most likely you also have the best hand.

Flop float is fine. Why do you bet the turn though? Can you make him fold Jx? If you can, what sizing? I think you need to go for stacks if you want Jx to fold. Most often I think you can just check back turn and give up river unimproved. There will be enough times where you check it down. Although your hand is good preflop, it's not good enough for many floats and bluffs on this board imo because your opponent will have too many hands with showdown value that go into check/call mode, like JT, QT, KJ, etc.
