      Hi,
villain is unknown. After his call on the flop and turn I was putting him on 22+, 7x, 4x. Question is, should I value bet the river when scare card hits or just c/c? I think if I check, he will check behind w all pocket pairs that might call small bet and I'm loosing value. But if I bet small, like I did, I show weakness and he might reraise as a bluff... It's unlikely against passive opponents, but what about the aggressive ones? Or I was thinking about third option to bet bigger like 2/3-3/4 of the pot. He still might call w some pocket pairs and there aren't many aces in his range on the river only A7, A4 which beats us anyway and maybe AK. What is the best option here?

      Thank you.

      Hi Mcgrega,

Preflop: looks fine although do you always raise 4x in SB vs BB or just with strong hands?

Postflop: As played we can consider betting larger on the turn or going for ck/raise. I'd prefer a ck/raise versus aggro guys.

AS played we can get at least half pot from 2nd pair type hands on the river so I'd bet at least 2.1.
