      BB: $5.97 (59.7 bb)
      Hero (UTG): $10 (100 bb)
      MP: $10.01 (100.1 bb)
      CO: $10 (100 bb)
      BTN: $10 (100 bb)
      SB: $8.90 (89 bb)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q A
Hero raises to $0.30, MP folds, CO raises to $0.90, 3 folds, Hero calls $0.60

      Flop: ($1.95) A 6 T (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $1.27, Hero calls $1.27

      Turn: ($4.49) 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $3.24, Hero raises to $7.83 and is all-in, CO calls $4.59 and is all-in

      River: ($20.15) 7 (2 players, 2 are all-in)

      $20.15 pot ($1 rake)
      Final Board: A 6 T 8 7
Hero showed Q A and lost (-$10 net)
      CO showed Q J and won $19.15 ($9.15 net)

It was the first 3bet I've seen from villain. Is AQs a bit of a loose call?

Flop: I think the better play is to check shove here.

Turn: When he bets big on a completed FD I should have folded. No FE at all vs such strength.

check/shove flop seems to be very -EV though, given his unknown 3bet range it seems like only stronger hands will call.

perhaps best play is c/c flop, c/f scary turn. c/shove blank turn?

      Hey Tommygecko,

Fold preflop when CO 3bets vs UTG. Take a note he showed up with JQs in this spot. Usually his value range in this spot will have AQs beat, and usually villain is not bluffing.

Best line is to check/call flop and check/fold turn.

I would not even think about check/shoving at any point here, your hand is simply very unlikely to get called by worse. Given the preflop action TPTK will usually end up being a bluff-catcher here. You won't typically be able to extract any value unless it gets checked down to river, and then you might get 1 street of value from something like QQ/KK.
