      BB: 58.74 BB (VPIP: 28.23, PFR: 20.16, 3Bet Preflop: 13.21, Hands: 126)
      UTG: 129.3 BB (VPIP: 19.58, PFR: 15.21, 3Bet Preflop: 8.91, Hands: 674)

      Hero (BTN): 126.72 BB
      SB: 40.5 BB (VPIP: 22.49, PFR: 14.75, 3Bet Preflop: 6.82, Hands: 1,134)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 5:heart: J:spade:

fold, fold, Hero raises to 2 BB, fold, BB calls 1 BB

      Flop: (4.5 BB, 2 players) Q:spade: Q:heart: 7:spade:
BB checks, Hero bets 2 BB, BB raises to 7.2 BB, Hero raises to 16 BB, fold

I always cbet 1/2 pot on this kind of board, because most people see it as bluff induce and fold, but some use it to bluff raise. I 3bet min, because I think he raises here Qx or air, and air he has to fold. Also I think he would call with Qx, and raise turn. Too optimistic?

      Hey GingerKid,

Looking at BB + SB stats + stack-size, really don't see how this is going to be a profitable open-raise for you in the long run. It's good to steal from BTN wide, but not in all situations.

Theoretically your flop 3bet may be ok, you get a good price on your steal and villain is probably somewhat polarised after he check/raises on the QQ7. In terms of constructing ranges, I think it is possible to make this play without ever holding J5o.
