hey, i've had to adjust this hand to be an example - it didn't actually happen :) i'd like to explore the possibility of cbet flop, checkraise turn as a semi bluff.

villain is a reg playing 22/19 over 3k hands. BU RFI = 41% and his fold vs 3bet is 65%.

preflop i decided to 3bet bluff him, i think this is fine, but not the point of the example.

Cbet on the flop is standard...

on the turn i don't improve and i'm quite sure villain will bet IP if i check. what i'd like to know is can i checkraise all in as a semi bluff here? and on what boards would you not make this play?

      Hi DrDunne,

Preflop: OOP I'd 3-bet to at least $1 there.

Postflop: At 10 nl I would not really take this line as a semibluff because your opponents will not actually float you that light in a 3-bet pot.

However, a line like this is good versus people like to float a lot and don't actually call much.

So someone who calls wide vs 3-bets and doesn't fold to one cbet.
