Villain is playing with stats 21/21/0 in 20 hands.

      SB ($2.04)
      BB ($2)
      UTG ($1.21)
      CO ($1.26)
      Hero ($3.43)

      Dealt to Hero K:spade: 2:spade:

fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.06, SB calls $0.05, fold

      FLOP ($0.14) 4:spade: 9:spade: 9:diamond:

SB checks, Hero bets $0.10, SB calls $0.10

      TURN ($0.34) 4:spade: 9:spade: 9:diamond: 8:club:

SB checks, Hero bets $0.26, SB calls $0.26

      RIVER ($0.86) 4:spade: 9:spade: 9:diamond: 8:club: 3:spade:

      SB checks, Hero bets $0.80,

What do you think about my river bet? Do you think I should have make it smaller? I thought that since he called until the river, he could also call a bet that big.

      Hi Acetbfish,

I think that someone at 2nl would have a hard time folding 9x or even overpairs there however I think that if we bet that big we might as well shove. I don't think there's a huge difference in his calling range between a PSB and a shove.

What do you think about that line in bigger stakes (I'm playing NL10), assuming that the opponent has about the same stats and the board texture is about the same?

I think its fine overbet shoving the river at higher limits too. Fishes will have a hard time folding 9x or even overpairs at higher stakes too.

We don't really have enough info on the guy to classify him but if you were to say that he is a "21/21" then overbet shoving may not get you called as much unless you have a crazy image or you've tilted him.

If he were a fish then we have an easy river shove.
