I see his raise on flop as weakness, because from my experience when people have something they call and raise maybe turn or river in 3bet pot. IF he would have Qx, he would probably not raise, so only makes sense with KK+ if he doesnt 4bet that. If he has it I still have 5 outs. Too spewy?

      Hey,

You also block 2 set combos so his value range goes down even more. I would want to know a bit his tendency to play against a cbet in 3bet pot but I agree with your assumption and your play should be profitable. Good hand imo, I like it!

I like youre play, you block 66 and his play doesnt make much sense. Would you play the same with 100% range which missed the flop?

Good question! I personally would not play 100% of my cbetting range like this so quite interested what GingerKid thinks about his range and actions here. :)

I dont think that the fact that I block 66 set is so crucial here, because anyway I don't expect him to call with 66 preflop. It would be much more important to have 9x here as a blocker.
Also I am not so much concerened that he has a set, because I almost never see people raising flop with set in 3bet pot. Most of the time when they raise it is a bluff with overcards, or draw (78s, TJs on this board) which calls shove. If he is doing this with draw, then my hand has around 50% equity so it is great since I have FE with my shove. IF he has Qx, or KK+ I still have 5 outs.
So I would not do it with my whole cbet range, but with hands which have 5+ outs, so that I dont need so much FE.

Yeah, I agree, blocking sets is not that crucial but it's fine. The main idea is to treat your hand as a semi-bluff plus you should clearly have huge amount of FE.
