River fold? I bet smaller because I wanted to get called by Jx

BTN steal/fold to 3bet? I'd usually fold QTo from SB, especially when there is a big fish on the BB, who can overcall a lot.

As played, without more info it's hard to tell what could the best play be, I'd usually bluffcatch 1 or 2 streets, depending on villain. If he is unknown I'd just bluffcatch on flop, and probably fold to a turn bet.

      Hi,

3bet should be fine against that very loose player. I would likely 3betevery broadway hand for value.
If you c/r for value, then make it 12bb and bet/call turn 22bb. That way you should bet maximum value out of worse Qx, Jx and draws.
Since it is hard him to call down with worse hands I would prefer c/c river to induce bet from missed draws or for example 4$ blockinbet to induce raises

      best regards,

      best regards,
Thats what I did, I bet 1/3 pot on river to get called by jx or weaker Qx or induce.

      Hi.

PF: This is a special case where I might prefer calling instead of 3betting despite being in the SB. Firstly I don't mind letting BB come along cos he's a huge fish. Secondly I think this VPIP 50 fish will often cold call our small 3bets with a very wide range of hands = really bad spot for us, bloating up the pot preflop with QTo and getting called by all better broadways and pocket pairs and many suited AX.

Flop: I would just cbet half pot for value here. Remember that your relative hand strength goes up tremendously vs this fish. He is going to have Q8 Q9 Q7s Q6s AT AK many JX hands, KT K9 T9 89. There is way too much value not to bet here.

I agree with your checkraise though, after he bets so small.

Turn: I like a half pot bet for value, I think his calling range is not going to be reduced too much by the Turn bet.

River: I think this is a c/c. Dont like betting here and unless you know he's an aggro fish this b/c would be bad cos fishes don't raise rivers light in general.

I dont get your idea about c/c river? I usually c/c if there is a fd to bluff catch, but here, I expect him to call mostly with PP, and some suited cards. So I think, if I c/c on river, he checks back his Jx, TT, 99, 88 hands, and bets mostly better hands, so I think I lose value and pay off better hands.

I think he will have some backdoor flushes and u beat busted straight draws too. Huge whales will often double float and chase gutshots (as proven by the results).

So over here u are beating kt ak at t9 k9 98 and a few backdoor heart draws. Rmb that we only half potted turn to keep hsi range wider.
