Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has Q:heart: A:heart:

fold, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, MP calls 3 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold

Hero bets 5 BB, MP calls 5 BB

      Turn: (17.5 BB, 2 players) 7:spade:
Hero checks, MP bets 9 BB, fold

      MP wins 17 BB

Playing rush poker...I raised with AhQh and thought I`d probably have to fold to a 3 bet as I`d likely be dominated...MP3 calls.

I have a flush draw so I bet to see if he had a hand and to put money in the pot in case I hit that flush.

When the 7 hit I wasn`t was a bit unsure. I could bet and try and take down the pot if he was just calling the CBet. On the other hand I didn`t have anything so I checked hoping he`d check. When he didn`t I have the odds to call...Figured I had to fold.

      Correct play?

      Preflop is fine.

On the flop you cbet is good here.

As played, I would bet the turn here as well. The 7 makes his set combos less, plus now we can make him fold hands like 99-JJ, probably a hand like KJ or so, plus if we get called we still have some equity.
