      Hi,

      I think you played it fine. Your Ace is not that strong so I prefer checking back as well but definitely wouldn't fold against the 2 minraises. He has too few Ax hands that would call a river bet that are worse when you have A8 so I would usually choose to vbet AJ+, maybe AQ+.
