I do a small raise on the flop to make sure the SB cannot stay in the hand cheaply with a draw. When they call, I decide to give up the hand if someone bets.

Maybe my sample on villains is to small to steal so loosely with J4s?

      Hi.

Preflop: I would just call here, or maybe you can even fold directly (but the bet kind of small so calling is fine).

When you raise so small, I am not so sure that you can force a draw out of the hand.

Besides, I think the main question here is whether you can raise for value or not. I don't think you can.

I guess you mean on the flop?

Is the preflop steal attempt ok?

Yea pf seems pretty standard. Opening this hand almost vs any two blinds. Unless both of them are super aggro in 3betting pre. With a fish in the blinds this should be a no brainer raise.
