Not sure what the best move was preflop: fold, call or 4bet? Maybe I should have made a 3bet anyway to avoid the squeeze? MP was rather tight, that way I was not happy to 3bet. BU was unknown at the time of the hand by the way.

      Hi,

Preflop it's quite close because if he is tight, calling AQ is not great either, esp since you are not at least BU. I would say it's a close call but good if people behind often just fold and you get to play IP.

When you get squeezed, 4betting is the worst option imo. If you think BB squeezes close to the 10% you see him having as a 3bet then calling to play postflop IP should be fine. You also get way better odds since you are 3way. This brings us to the flop.

We are 3way and BB still bets, this means he has Ax imo. Now, we beat Ax quite often and we are freerolling diamonds so shoving to look like just diamonds without a spade is a nice play. What would you do if MP flats the cbet?

      Thanks for the feedback.

If MP calls, I would just call I guess, because the pot is big enough to just push then on almost any turn in case they don't bet. However, J is actually one of the worst cards that could come, because it is a likely holding in that case of both vilains, so not sure if I would shove this particular turn in case they check to me, although I don't think I can give up the hand anymore. Why do you ask :) ?

It's a typical spot where many shove because they have great equity which is true but they forget to look how crushed they have that board and what shoving acheives. Shoving makes all other worse flushdraws fold which can get you extra 60BB every 15% of the time since it would fold on the flop vs a shove most often.
