      Hero (CO): 112.74 BB
      BTN: 65.78 BB (VPIP: 41.70, PFR: 29.55, 3Bet Preflop: 25.00, Hands: 253)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 8:spade: 8:heart:

Hero raises to 3 BB, BTN raises to 9 BB, fold, fold, Hero raises to 112.74 BB and is all-in, BTN calls 56.78 BB

      Flop: (133.06 BB, 2 players) 3:heart: T:heart: 6:diamond:

      Turn: (133.06 BB, 2 players) Q:club:

      River: (133.06 BB, 2 players) 3:spade:

Hero shows 8:spade: 8:heart: (Two Pair, Eights and Threes) (Pre 55%, Flop 72%, Turn 77%)
BTN shows K:club: A:heart: (One Pair, Threes) (Pre 45%, Flop 28%, Turn 23%)
      Hero wins 129.06 BB

He is kind of maniac, 3bets each hand with each crap, and is weak postflop (cbets once and gives up, or folds to raise, also noticed that each time he hits, he plays passive). So with this note I was not sure weather to flat 88 OOP, because it is vulnerable? Also I expect to have a lot of FE, and if he calls with broadway cards I am ahead.

Against his stack I like your play, I think with 88 you win more by making him fold overs (you still win if he calls but you have less chances to make a mistake). This would change if you had a less vulnerable hand like KK for example which is good enough to either take postflop or 4bet small to induce a call or a shove. In other words, if you have a higher pair and 4bet it, he makes a bigger mistake by calling or shoving while when he calls or shoves with almost any hand vs 88 it's not a mistake since he has enough equity + FE.
