Prima, $0.10/$0.20 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

      BTN: $20.80 (104 bb)
      SB: $4.47 (22.3 bb)
      Hero (BB): $24.69 (123.5 bb)
      UTG: $25.10 (125.5 bb)
      MP: $20 (100 bb)
      CO: $20.50 (102.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K Q
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.60, 3 folds, Hero raises to $2, MP calls $1.40

      Flop: ($4.10) 7 Q 8 (2 players)
      Hero checks, MP checks

      Turn: ($4.10) 4 (2 players)
Hero bets $2.40, MP calls $2.40

      River: ($8.90) 6 (2 players)
Hero bets $6, MP calls $6

No reads on villain. didn't want to call and play OOP vs his MP range. folding is probably best but i wanted to get into new spots and hopefully learn something haha! :s_biggrin: :f_biggrin:

Iim not really sure of his range post flop when he checks back flop. no info really as he can do this with his whole flatting range. when he doesn't raise turn im more confident we have the best hand an he has SD value hand like 9's,T's,Jacks.

bet 2/3 ont he river to get value from what i think is his calling range. Planning to fold Vs raise as he has lots of slowplays still in his range.

      Heya,

I think preflop 3bet is fine if you approach postflop careful and don't spew preflop eithe vs a 4bet. If he is unknown I like making him known and 3betting is a way to do that, esp with hands like KQo that give you good preflop FE and some equity against a calling range.

As played, river value is thin but I like it. People don't put Qx in your range often enough imo and definitely no 5x in your perceived range, meaning they will make lighter calls. Apart form that, the flop check back is most often a sign of midpair or mediocre Qx, not a slowplay.

and just snap folding vs a raise on turn or river will be the best/ safest play?

I think he can take this line with 77,88,QQ,

Yep, I think it's a fold vs any raise on this board and in this situation.
