Villain is a fish who raises wide on the BU. I thought of 3betting here but he never folds to flop cbets and I'm OOP.

On the river, given his huge bet and the paired board plus I do not have the nut flush plus we are very deep do I value raise here?

      Hi Tommy,

PRelfop: looks fine and I agree that calling is most likely better than 3-betting this deep without more info

Postflop: The flop call is really light but once we pick up our flush on the river we should definitely raise for value.

There are quite a few hands that beat us but we beat even more that can still call or go broke.

Should I have bet/call river instead of check/raise?

I'd only lead out if the fish is passive enough to check back too many hands we can get value from.

But since the board didn't change a whole lot I think that he can still bet 5x, overpairs, etc so ck/raise is better imo.
