      CO: $27.95
      BTN: $3.65
      SB: $36
      Kruppe (BB): $25

      Pre-Flop: 8:heart: 8:diamond: dealt to Kruppe (BB)
3 folds, BTN raises to $3.65 and is All-In, SB calls $3.55, Kruppe calls $3.40

      Flop: ($10.95) 6:diamond: K:club: Q:spade: (3 Players - 1 is All-In)
SB checks, Kruppe bets $5.50, SB folds

      Turn: ($10.95) 6:diamond: K:club: Q:spade: [ 4:spade: ] (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

      River: ($10.95) 6:diamond: K:club: Q:spade: 4:spade: [ J:diamond: ] (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

I think I should fold pre as I have low implied odds against the caller and 88 is too bad for a push. right?
      as played, check flop?

      Would fold preflop:

      - no odds to call for setvalue vs sb
      - pushing is not that good either: vs the shortstack range your most likely behind (66+, A9+ is his wide range?). And you've got no idea what SB will do, if he folds your still behind vs the SS player, and if he calls your up against AA/KK/QQ/AK --> no value in pushing.

Flop bet was wild. You're almost ceirtainly behind SB. Happens you weren't :)

Pre-flop is tricky. The implied odds are so-so. You're getting 2:1 to call and SB has you covered, so if you hit you're getting paid (bit over 7:1). But then the SB has to hit too and we're into wishfull thinking.

Without SB history it's a fold. In most cases it's a fold, anyway.

If you thought that SB could call with worse hand that BU showed pf and 88 beats BU shoving range, then shove :)
Another option would be call pf, but then you should check it down. You don´t have overpair, and SB could easily hold K or Q, which he won´t fold to your 1/2 potsize bet.
