      Hero (Button) ($10.73)
      SB ($5.36)
      BB ($20.85)
      UTG ($10)
      MP ($21.74)
      CO ($5.05)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A, K
1 fold, MP bets $0.30, 1 fold, Hero raises to $1.05, 2 folds, MP calls $0.75

      Flop: ($2.25) 8, 4, 10 (2 players)
      MP checks, Hero checks

      Turn: ($2.25) 10 (2 players)
MP bets $0.60, Hero calls $0.60

      River: ($3.45) Q (2 players)
      MP checks, Hero checks

      Total pot: $3.45 | Rake: $0.16

Villain was unknown, so I think the 3bet should be fine. What about the flop, I decided to checkbehind to improve, would you advise against in this spot? Would a 1/2 potsize bet be much better in this spot? What about the river, I really thought about bluffbetting it,...

      Hi Jazzy,

Preflop: looks fine but do you normally 3-bet that large IP?

Postflop: I think that the flop is dry enough that we should cbet and look to take it down.

I would definitely bet 1/2 against unknown and expect to scoop the pot up often.

As played we should most likely fold the turn as I doubt worse hands bet like that and i would not try to bluff river as played.

As a side note, when you leave a reply, don't forget to hit the advise judge to take another look b utton.

      I usually have standard 3bet sizes ip = 3x (+limpers ) op =3.5-4x (+limpers).

      IP it's smaller since:
we have position -> easier to control pot size and bluff.

Of course sometimes it differs if the player is a "whale" - no need for balancing, if he have high ft3bet/clt3bet in blind battles, stack size etc.

If they are fish or we 3-bet just for value (in a spot) we can make it larger.

But on average we have more bluffs IP and more value OOP.

So IP I make it 8-10 BB depending on his open, and OOP 10-12 BB.
