Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has Q:club: Q:heart:

UTG raises to 3 BB, Hero calls 3 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold

      Flop: (7.5 BB, 2 players) K:spade: 8:heart: K:diamond:
UTG bets 4 BB, Hero calls 4 BB

      Turn: (15.5 BB, 2 players) 5:spade:
      UTG checks, Hero checks

      River: (15.5 BB, 2 players) 7:diamond:
UTG checks, Hero bets 12 BB, fold

Hero shows Q:club: Q:heart: (Two Pair, Kings and Queens)
      Hero wins 14.74 BB

He opens EP 10%, folds to 3bet 77% so i call. I am not sure if I should value bet turn? If he would call me I am not sure if I have value on river? So I check and hope he bluffs river.

      Hi.

Every street before River looks standard.

River: I want you to think about what type of hands you are targeting (for value betting here), and what bet size you should make vs such ranges.

I am targeting 8x, 99-JJ. I think when people decide to call with this hands they call anyway, especially because I am floating often. So I think, even if I bet 1/2 pot size or 1/3, he calls those hands anyway and folds air.

Your points are logical and valid, but there are some things I would like to point out since I also disagree with some of your statements.

      1) What you said made sense but is more applicable for wider ranges and vs someone who floats all day with backdoors. Are you such a player? I suppose u mentioned that in the text, but floating AQ/AJ here in MP vs UTG is just burning money

Is this 10% EP opening range going to contain 8X? Probably not

      2) I am not sure why you always think that people are floating wide on KKXr boards. I already explained it in the other post. Maybe people are floating wide in BvB with ace highs. Not vs this 10% opening range from UTG. AQ/AJ/22-77 are all snap folding here on the Flop in my opinion.

Because of these 2 reasons, I think a smaller bet makes more sense in order to induce a crying call from your opponents. I really don't think you rep air when you bet larger. In fact, your flop calling range should virtually contain no air. Thus you want to bet small to make him get overly excited about the pot odds and forget about hand-reading
