      MP 45 hands 40/28. probably a fish

      BU 7.1k hands
      20/17/5.5%
      3bet BU 3.6%
      fold to 3bet overall 58% (BU 56%)
cbet flop and turn in 3bet pots 84/35
      WTSD 27%
      WWSF 45%
      Agg freq 45/31/22

Pre flop I think BU has a strong range, given that, should I cold 4bet my Aces cause "he has a strong range" or should I just cold call because I balance the times I cold call JJ-QQ and AK and get the fish into the hand?

      Hi,

When BU has a stronge range we then have to think how our perceived range is as well. If he knows you know he has a strong range, how do you look when you cold 4bet, esp when he is likely 3betting a fish that will definitely give you value postflop if you just call. I think calling is good here with AA, if BU has a strong range like you say, he won't get away postflop that often plus you win a lot more when MP calls and just throws money at your or when BU tries to rep your hand. You are very under-represented imo so you will get bet into by a lot of Qx hands.

After looking at results it ofc sucks, since KK should be expected to vbet all the way. That just shows that people are very scared of value betting good hands.. the truth is you do look like QQ, JJ, AQ preflop and if he thinks you don't have AQo then he has a hard time getting value but if the flop comes like Jxx or lower you still stack him imo.
