      BTN: $27.79 (111.2 bb)
      Hero (SB): $30.35 (121.4 bb)
      BB: $15.12 (60.5 bb)
      UTG: $26.15 (104.6 bb)
      MP: $33.50 (134 bb)
      CO: $89.64 (358.6 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K T
4 folds, Hero raises to $0.75, BB calls $0.50

      Flop: ($1.50) J 9 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $1, BB calls $1

      Turn: ($3.50) 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $2.50, BB calls $2.50

      River: ($8.50) 9 (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $4, Hero folds

      $8.50 pot ($0.38 rake)
      Final Board: J 9 5 5 9
Hero mucked K T and lost (-$4.25 net)
BB mucked and won $8.12 ($3.87 net)

Villain is completely unknown, but seems fishy based on his stacksize.

Flop i guess is standard, on the turn i didnt wanted to check/call, i might fold out some 66-88, random ace high, so i think the bet is also standard here.

River...sick card, only another J would be worse. Maybe a Jx can call me here sometimes, but apart from that, any 9x, 5x beats me, SD's like QT missed, so i dont think i can valuebet here (and he just has a roughly potsized stack here, so if i vbet like 5$, and he shoves, it will be hard for me to fold here).

So i decided to check, but Jx/TT will check back, only 9x and 5x will bet here, sometimes QT and some random bluff, but i dont know if i should check/call bluffcatch here or not, so i folded.

      Hi Absolutism,

      Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: Both flop and turn are good bets and the size, versus fishy guy is fine.

I'm really not sure I understand the river, how can we check fold with the second nut flush? If villain had 5x he'd probably raise the turn. 9x is part of it but there are a lot more TT/Jx (and other pairs since you put 5x in his range) and draws. There are straight draws and flush draws.

If anything this should be a bet/fold but versus a fish.

I recommend you equilab this spot and break down his range and see exactly how it's split up.
