The villain is playing with stats 37/16 in 40 hands (fold to cbet 1/2).

      Grabbed by Holdem Manager
      NL Holdem $0.10(BB) Replayer
      SB ($12.25)
      BB ($10.79)
      UTG ($5.90)
      Hero ($9.95)
      CO ($18.26)
      BTN ($8.65)

      Dealt to Hero K:diamond: Q:club:

fold, Hero raises to $0.30, fold, fold, fold, BB calls $0.20

      FLOP ($0.65) A:spade: A:diamond: 9:heart:

      BB checks, Hero checks

      TURN ($0.65) A:spade: A:diamond: 9:heart: 7:diamond:

BB bets $0.20, Hero calls $0.20

      RIVER ($1.05) A:spade: A:diamond: 9:heart: 7:diamond: T:heart:

      BB checks, Hero checks

On the flop I was thinking that there is no point in cbetting the flop since he probably continues with better hands (pairs and aces) and folds all the dominated hands.

      Hey Acetbfish,

I think cbetting will be fine. I find the trick on AA9 type textures is to bet smaller and make it look like you desperately want a call. $0.28 may even give you more fold equity than a larger bet in these spots. If you do get called by pairs you have equity.

Nothing too wrong with checking back the nut-no-pair however.

Turn call is borderline when you might be drawing dead. It's possible you have the best hand but most villains will bet larger here with a bluff.

      Overall hand is fine.
