      Hiya, both villains unknown
Not sure if my line is too loose vs unknowns.

I thought the cbet was marginal, but I have ok equity & they will fold better broadways & probably some small PP since its multiway.

Turn barrel ok? only 78 gets there & I figure most pairs other that Tx fold turn.
May be a bit loose looking back at it, since all sets are still in his range & he can also flat the turn with the top of his range.

I guess that makes my river bet spewy too then :P
I didn't think my river sizing was too important since I'm only trying to fold out the weak parts of his range.

      BTN: $80.16 (320.6 bb)
      SB: $24.55 (98.2 bb)
      BB: $11.71 (46.8 bb)
      UTG: $38.56 (154.2 bb)
      Hero (MP): $40.98 (163.9 bb)
      CO: $30.33 (121.3 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with J Q
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.75, CO calls $0.75, BTN calls $0.75, 2 folds

      Flop: ($2.60) 3 9 T (3 players)
Hero bets $1.75, CO folds, BTN calls $1.75

      Turn: ($6.10) 6 (2 players)
Hero bets $3.50, BTN calls $3.50

      River: ($13.10) 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $6.75, BTN calls $6.75

      Results:
      $26.60 pot ($1.20 rake)
      Final Board: 3 9 T 6 2
      BTN showed Q 9 and won $25.40 ($12.65 net)
Hero showed J Q and lost (-$12.75 net)

I get frustrated on these spots as well - sometimes they just don't fold. Turn 6 is not the best scare card but I'd play the same way. River is again meh card and I understand why you didn't want to give up when he might hold weak pocket or TP.
When I look back to these kind of spots I make a note not to bluff unknowns. At least villain has an aggressive image of you now and you can use it in future spots.

      Hi.

I think we can fire twice by default and you should be using larger bet sizes on every street. Same goes for the river, i don't see how you are putting Tx in a tough spot with your half pot bet, he gets 25% pot odds here and he can just easily snap any KT AT QT type of hand.

Thanks guys, yeh i understand what you mean with the river sizing. I just thought if he has <TPGK he will most likely fold to the third barrel regardless of the sizing (unless i make it ridic small like $2 ofc).
But I will take note for future hands :)
