      BB: $14.55 (145.5 bb)
      UTG: $14.57 (145.7 bb)
      MP: $20.18 (201.8 bb)
      CO: $4.59 (45.9 bb)
      BTN: $4.73 (47.3 bb)
      Hero (SB): $20.81 (208.1 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A K
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.30, 2 folds, Hero raises to $1.20, BB folds, MP raises to $3.60, Hero folds

      $2.50 pot
MP mucked and won $2.50 ($1.30 net)

Villain is 34/25/9. I think it's the first time I've seen him 4bet. What do we do here? I don't want to commit 200bbs with AK.

Could pre be just call instead of 3b?

      Hey Tommygecko,

Standard option vs an MP opener should just be to flat here unless you have a good reason to 3bet. Reverse-implied-odds hands like AKo don't play so well deep and it's fine to keep the pot small preflop.

When MP 4bets vs SB-3bet mucking is fine. 4bet sizing is very big which typically suggests fish with value-hand rather than reg with bluff.
