SB posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has A:club: T:club:

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, SB calls 2.6 BB, fold

      Flop: (7 BB, 2 players) 9:spade: 9:heart: Q:spade:
      SB bets 11 BB, fold

      SB wins 6.8 BB

What may be the reason for SB oversized bet on the flop? What if flop was 9:spade: 9:heart: T:spade: and SB bets same amount. How do I proceed? Call flop bet since i have position?

      Hello,

I can't really tell you a logical reason why did he overbet here, and I am not sure if there is any at all.

What I can tell you here is that I would just fold and go to the next hand. We have no information about the player, we just have ace high, so there's no need to get into marginal spots at all.

If the board was T99tt I would call here and reevaluate on the turn, but I'd be very cautious there.

      Best,
      Plamen
