      Hi,
      villain unknown
Ok spot to attack his seemingly weak range?
Multiway I think he is cbetting most of his value range so when he c/calls flop I think his range is fairly weak & weighted towards like TT,99,T9 some FD's he wants to see a free card with.

Give up turn? I think I have more Jx than him since he's usually cbetting Jx for protection, so I thought it was ok.

If he were to just call the turn bet, would you consider firing blank rivers?

      BTN: $27.93 (55.9 bb)
      SB: $54.72 (109.4 bb)
      BB: $114.28 (228.6 bb)
      UTG: $29.63 (59.3 bb)
      MP: $49.32 (98.6 bb)
      Hero (CO): $52.61 (105.2 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 2 2
UTG folds, MP raises to $1, Hero calls $1, BTN folds, SB calls $0.75, BB folds

      Flop: ($3.50) 5 J 8 (3 players)
SB checks, MP checks, Hero bets $2.50, SB folds, MP calls $2.50

      Turn: ($8.50) J (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $5.50, MP raises to $11, Hero folds

      Results:
      $19.50 pot ($0.88 rake)
      Final Board: 5 J 8 J
MP mucked and won $18.62 ($9.62 net)
Hero mucked 2 2 and lost (-$9 net)

      Hi.

Flop: I think it's ok to stab or check down.

Turn: His range for c/c-ing flop is mostly JX or mid pairs so I think it's ok to stab the Turn. Sometimes he folds, sometimes he calls and we have a small flush draw which may be live. I'll just give up on the River if he calls. We are betting Turn with the assumption that he folds mid pairs on the Turn.

With this assumption in mind, firing river is a bad idea cos we are mostly up against trips.
