Prima, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 5 Players

      MP: $21.37 (42.7 bb)
      Hero (CO): $50.50 (101 bb)
      BTN: $50.46 (100.9 bb)
      SB: $16.35 (32.7 bb)
      BB: $26.19 (52.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A:spade: J:heart:
MP calls $0.50, Hero raises to $2, 3 folds, MP calls $1.50

      Flop: ($4.75) 9:spade: A:club: T:diamond: (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $3.33, MP calls $3.33

      Turn: ($11.41) 6:diamond: (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $7.50, MP raises to $16.04, Hero calls $8.54

      Unknown, probably a fish.

Perhaps i can pot bet the flop bigger and shove the turn?

As played, i guess bet/call is ok vs. his stack?

i think your line is fine, i dont want to shove the turn because he could fold his draws, i rather bet the sizing you did and give him a chance to spew over. usually when he check raises like that its a strong made hand but sometimes they also do it with a pair plus draw kind of hand and there are many such hands on this board. given his short stack size this is definitely a call.
