      Hi.

I think u can still push here. The pfr has incentive to squeeze lighter with a fourbet when the bb fish comes along with extra dead money.

      Thanks.

My thought was to call to get the fish along..
      Bad idea?
And with a "safer" hand like AA?

I think flatting to let the fish in is better if the fish is tighter (20/6 or 38/15). Against fishes who have vpip more than 50, they are going to coldcall 3bets really wide anyway so i prefer 3betting.

Question is whether we should be 3betting vs the pfr in the first place. I think 17% is loose enough to 3b against but flatting is also fine especially with the fish in the blinds. Since the 3b is not even that +ev in the first place i may actually prefer calling here with QQ and JJ.

With kk and aa 3betting is better imo.

I was saying calling against the 4bet, not against the open raise..

oh ok, not sure why I misread that :)

It boils down to whether you think coolering the PFR is more +EV with AA/KK or calling and letting the fish come in is more +EV.

If we think the PFR is rarely 4b/folding, I don't see how 5betting could ever be worse than calling. And sometimes you'll be surprised to see such fishy BB calling the 3b and calling the push with AJ or 55.

I think pushing is by far the best play in most circumstances. If you think the PFR is 4betting as a bluff really often then you could argue for calling here to let the fish into the hand.
