flop - i like the check line to induce bets from him he cant have much and i dont think hes calling us 3 streets with worse. when he bets though i prefer check/raising and then betting the turn.

turn - if we called i think the best plan is to plan for a check/raise, if we are donking here we might as well check/raise flop. i dont like the sizing though, i think hes calling wider so i prefer a raise to 45-50 cents, and of course call the shove he could shove many worse hands like 2p and pair plus draw.

      Hi MeAmor22 and cutegoldfish

Flop: I would prefer a cbet on this flop as I assume that loose passive players are more often going to call then bet themselves. Due to the dry board the cbet may not be big, but a $0.12-$0.14 would do. If checked I prefer c/r the flop to about $0.20-22 but I think this line would make it much harder for weaker hands to call as we signal a lot of strength.

The rest I agree with cgf.

      Best wishes

Can't agree with you here. Min-raising isn't an option, it's exploitable and we lose tons of value. Raise to appr. 0.3 here would be more preferable. He would still call us and most likely turn bet, too, if he had a hand.

My opinion to the hand itself: bet yourself, don't get fancy. Best way to gain value against fishes is to bet bet bet and bet.

Oh, I agree with c/r bigger. For some reason I assumed that he would minbet the flop :f_confused:

we have the nuts here any sort of play that involves getting more money in would not be a big mistake.

the question is though, which is the BEST? it really depends on your opponent.

for example opponent is passive and just going to check if we check, then we might as well bet the flop and all streets

if opponent likes to bet and draw then i would rather check/raise the flop and usually if they draw they would call a big bet.

i suggested a check/raise because when we have top set i didnt expect them to have much to call with so i thought their betting range is larger than their calling range which is why i endorsed calling.

if you have reason to believe his calling range is larger than his betting range then betting is the best move.
