      Did hero act correctly?

Since villain did not 4bet preflop it is likely that he did not have AA. He could hold a pair or AK. Hero made a continuation bet on the flop but he was re-raised by villain. Since it was only min. reraise, it was possible that also villain wanted to check where he standed. Since villain did not go all-in after hero's re-raise, he did not have AK (since he just called hero's reraise, he might have afraid that hero had AK or AA) and might have hoped to hit his set on the turn. Because of the actions on the flop and since the turn card could not be helpfull for villain, hero decided to push since he thought to have enough fold equity (even against KK, but KK would likely 4bet preflop).

Very brave re-raise on the flop and shove on the river.

I'd never shove on the river like that. You can be sure he didn't min-raise you on the flop with a hand like JJ. You're probably looking at an ace-face type of hand.

I'm apprehensive to shove with overpair/TPTK kind of hands, pockets with overcard on the table when re-raised are a no-no.

70/20 would call with Ax and hero is behind here 90%
Bet 4,5$-5$ and fold to re-raise.
Flop 3-bet and turn shove is very big mistake.
