How can I get most value out of my trips here if they don't even call a small cbet

      PokerStars - $0.05 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

      BTN: 147.6 BB (VPIP: 11.11, PFR: 6.17, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 82)
      BB: 38.6 BB (VPIP: 20.00, PFR: 4.17, 3Bet Preflop: 8.33, Hands: 25)
      Hero (CO): 118.2 BB

SB posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has T:club: T:spade:

fold, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, BTN calls 3 BB, fold, BB calls 2 BB

      Flop: (9.4 BB, 3 players) T:diamond: 5:club: J:heart:
BB bets 1 BB, Hero raises to 4 BB, fold, fold

      Hello,

Unfortunately, we can't always get value here, but that's poker.

But, when we can get value, it's good to maximize our value, so you should raise bigger here with the intention of putting BB all in on the turn, which means making it around 10bb.

      Best,
      Plamen

Why do we want to put him AI on the turn already and not on the river, so we can bet smaller and allow more weak hands to call?

Because this way we take maximum value from his draws and weaker made hands, without risking his draw to miss on the river (or hit), and a scary card (such as Q/K/A) to come on the turn/river.
