      -----

      MP2 is 20/16/0 over 50. Cbet 75/67/100 flop/turn/river.

      Preflop: I flat in position.

Flop: decided to float vs a small cbet with my gutshot and backdoor FD. My plan was to bet the turn if he checks.

Turn: I improved to GS+FD. I need 25% equity and I have 12 outs so I call. In retrospect, I could have raised as I could easily rep a Jx hand. By raising I would fold out KK-QQ and his lower Ax.

River: I didn't improve so there's no point in bluffing as he still shows strength.

Could I raise the turn here?

      Hi.

I think you played it fine. While you could have raised the Turn to rep JX, what makes you think that...

      a. he bets AX on the Turn?
      b. he doesn't have JX himself?
      c. he folds AX on the Turn to a raise?

I prefer the line you took, we can still rep AX and JX and I would bet if checked to on the River. Besides at NL5 I am not even sure if AK/AQ bet/folds the Turn. Many of them do not know that Turn raises tend to be stronger in general and they will often overvalue their top pair hands

      Nice hand.
