Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has K:heart: K:club:

fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, fold, BTN calls 3 BB, fold, fold

      Flop: (7.5 BB, 2 players) J:spade: T:heart: T:club:
Hero bets 4.5 BB, BTN calls 4.5 BB

      Turn: (16.5 BB, 2 players) 4:spade:
Hero checks, BTN bets 10 BB, Hero calls 10 BB

      River: (36.5 BB, 2 players) 6:heart:
Hero checks, BTN bets 26 BB, fold

      BTN wins 35 BB

When I hit the flop I have to cbet there. I'm beating anything except for a hand with a J or a 10 in it. I was surprised he called. Do I bet the turn here? When he bet...I thought he could be trying to steal since I'd checked. Is it better to bet again then check/fold the river?

When he bet on the river I thought he must have a J or 10...then again maybe he just sensed weakness. I thought I just couldn't call.

      Hi Edukator,

      Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: We beat Jx but from what you have typed it seems that you think we don't beat it?

I would say that flop is a valuebet vs Jx or draws and even other pairs can call too.

I would agree with you that betting turn is far superior to ck/calling versus an unknown at this limit.

Oh sorry. What am I saying... right... I knew I beat Jx lol.

Guess I should have bet the turn. I got hammered on kings in this session and was a little to cautious I guess.

Let's say I bet on the turn and he calls.

If that 6 still hits. Do I bet again? If he did call then I'm very worried he has a 10.

We did bet the turn to get called by a Jx or a draw too right?

So on the river he can also have many Jx and we can expect some Tx to actually raise the turn (at least I would). So he has a lot more Jx than Tx in his range.
