thought about callling on the turn but risks a club falling on the river or an ace and potentially losing value. There are a lot of slowplays I think he can have on the turn especially as he's in position. However, given this players VPIP even if he is passive I don't think I can find a fold here. Also, I think iso pre is marginal.

I think I could agree a call on turn and call on blank river. We don't have that strong trips, and he could also have some slowplayed str8 combos. Think he won't bluff here with FD.

On river it won't be a :club: that often, so call and call blank..

      Hi.

I dont think calling is an option when so much money has already been invested. You will be committed so often on so many cards.

So i think on the turn u should regard villain's raise as a push.

      Pot odds = 10.02/23.45 = 42.6%
Assign him an appropriate raising range on the turn and decide if u can call or fold. Imo he will be shoving a ton of worse 9x hands so u probably shouldnt fold.

but if we x/c here x/c river can miss some value?

Thanks mbml, think it's very close though but I agree I don't think I can ever find a fold here.

you definitely shouldn't slowplay or pot control this 9X hand, as that would be results oriented. You can get so much value from 5X/6X/77/88/flush draws.
