      MP: $31.16 (155.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K 7
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.40, SB folds, Hero raises to $1.20, BTN calls $0.80

      Flop: ($2.50) 5 Q 8 (2 players)

      River: ($10.90) 3 (2 players)
Hero bets $27.62 and is all-in, BTN calls $14.90 and is all-in

no stats. saw him get to SD with K2o when stealing from btn. so i decided to 3bet bluff.

      flop is standard yeah?

usually i shut-down on the turn, but i pick up BDeq and think we have fold equity vs TT-JJ, AK.

      Is 2nd barreling here ok?

      Hey Gxtwo,

Since we have no info on villain he can presumably get to the flop with a pretty wide range. That doesn't necessarily mean he's folding any of it.

I don't like the idea of firing one barrel on this texture: if I did cbet, it would be with the intention of firing any Ace Diamond or 6 on the turn. My preferred option vs unknown is probably to check/fold. Why play a big pot when you have no info to exploit?

6 is basically one of the nut barreling cards for you. I'd definitely fire again here. I'd bet a little bigger to set up less of an overbet on river so closer to $3.70 or so.

      thanks w34z3l! :D

What range are we targeting when we fire said cards?

      what about barreling K turns?

Difficult to say with no info on villain. This is why I like to keep the pot small versus unknowns. Generally speaking we are looking to fold out any PP's that floated up to JJ, weak Qx, and A-high floats. If villain's range is really wide also things like 8x and 5x.

The 6 is not really a good card for our fold equity but it gives us a lot of additional equity which compensates.

We would turn K7 into a bluff if we were to barrel on a K turn. It may still be profitable, but it won't be the most plus EV line when Kx is strong enough to bluff-catch, so I'd think about check-calling Kx turn rather than betting.
