Probably still its a 3bet, but maybe in game I had less stats and he maybe lookeed very tight.

I did bet on river to make fold some weak pairs.

But his raise looked bluffy for me - if he has Tx he would bet the turn for value.

      Hey SF,

I do think preflop is a mandatory 3bet.

Postflop, as played, I would usually lean towards a check/raise on the flop with overs and BD straight. You still make him fold most midpairs and you also don't allow him to realise his equity with free cards.

Now, if you call, you have to assume you are likely ahead. If you are likely ahead, the turn and river barelu changes that and if he has 9x, 88, 7x is usually not folding to your bet. That means you cannot really bluff and given the flop call, it means you are also likely to have the best hand. I would not be against a check/call on the river here, if you expect him to bet turn with most his value hands.

Your small bet can only be to induce a raise because it does not make him fold midpairs like I explained before, and you won't get a call from A high and K high often enough.
