      CO: 132.68 BB (VPIP: 24.09, PFR: 19.71, 3Bet Preflop: 13.64, Hands: 139)
      BTN: 100 BB (VPIP: 25.38, PFR: 22.05, 3Bet Preflop: 13.68, Hands: 272)
      Hero (SB): 156.6 BB
      BB: 85.5 BB (VPIP: 57.14, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 14)
      UTG: 111.82 BB (VPIP: 25.49, PFR: 17.65, 3Bet Preflop: 2.38, Hands: 103)

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has Q:heart: A:club:

fold, fold, BTN raises to 2.5 BB, Hero raises to 7 BB, BB calls 6 BB, BTN calls 4.5 BB

      Flop: (21 BB, 3 players) Q:diamond: 8:spade: T:diamond:
Hero bets 8 BB, BB calls 8 BB, fold

      Turn: (37 BB, 2 players) 7:spade:
      Hero checks, BB checks

      River: (37 BB, 2 players) K:diamond:
Hero checks, BB bets 18.5 BB, fold

      BB wins 35.16 BB

I think on flop I could bet bigger, but I was not sure what is the cold calling range of BB, his 12 hands and VPiP tells me he is potential fish. Turn is very bad card, so I pot control, and river is the worst in the deck. Would you fold if non diamond K comes on river? or non diamond? Fold on blank? I think he is betting for value on river, when he checks behind and draw completes.

      Hi GK,

Why do you say the turn card is very bad? It seems like a card that improves his range but only to add some weak draws, meaning he calls wider. I would value bet turn and decide river.

River is a bad card, I agree and I would fold.

My personal approach would be to bet bigger on this flop as a default. Whetehr fish or reg, I'd go at least 1/2 pot. Your sizing is super small, it will make him call wider so even more of a reason to bet the turn since you face a weaker range.

I thought 7 is a bad card, because I expect him to call preflop with 77-QQ, and almost all hit. J or 9 would be definetely worse, since people call more often those cards.
I agree about turn bet, and my bet size. Thanks.

He calls preflop but does he call 77 on the flop with undepair? Even so, it's only 3 combos.

J9 was beating you already but think of all the KQ, QJ, T9, 89, Tx with spades, etc.. Those are the hands that call again. :)
