      River: (35 BB, 2 players) A:spade:
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets 24 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 24 BB

I called from the sb hoping for jus the kind of flop that actually appeared.

I called the cbet as that would just be a standard play.

When he bet the turn I got a little worried about being up against AQ, but didn't see the rest of those cards in his range. AA and KK are also possibilites. I called thinking I was still ahead in most cases.

When the A hit I thought I was in trouble if he bet, but considering the small stack size I thought I was pretty committed to calling so I did.

Should I have bet the turn?

As played do I fold on the river?

      Hey Edukator99,

Your are OOP and likely behind villains range with a hand like QKs. When you do flop the best hand you are unlikely to get get paid off, and when you flop 2nd best you are going to get stacked by stuff like AQ/AK/KK/AA/QQ etc. Ok to just muck preflop here.

The fact that your hand is suited may make it a little more playable ordinarily, but this doesn't really apply when villain only has 40bb in his stake.

As played postflop you should be able to find a fold on the river, you don't really beat any of villain's range.
