      BTN: 110.12 BB
      SB: 132.96 BB
      BB: 146.12 BB
      UTG: 255.88 BB
      MP: 192.16 BB
      Hero (CO): 102.16 BB

SB posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has K:spade: K:club:

UTG raises to 3 BB, MP raises to 8 BB, Hero...?

      utg 1-tabler, mp reg 25/17/149h.
how do we approach this with the reg's low 3bet sizing? they are deep and that looks more like an iso-3bet than anything.

      Hi.

I don't think you should read too much into the 3bet size. I think the best play here is to flat. Not only do you look really strong when you 4bet in these early positions, but also you should want to let the fish come along in the hand.

I would only 4bet if I had been cold 4-betting a lot vs MP which gives him reason to defend wider or 5bet shove wider.

      Thanks.

Hero requests TIME, Hero calls 8 BB, fold, fold, fold, UTG calls 5 BB

      Flop: (25.4 BB, 3 players) 5:diamond: 9:spade: 7:diamond:
UTG checks, MP bets 15 BB, Hero...?

thought about just raise shoving straight away, maybe the fish still calls TP+ :f_biggrin:
alternatives are to raise smaller or flat and hope for a good turn i think.

calls 15 BB, UTG calls 15 BB

      Turn: (70.4 BB, 3 players) J:club:
UTG checks, MP bets 38 BB, Hero raises to 79.16 BB and is all-in, fold, MP calls 41.16 BB
this isn't exactly a super good turn but it's tough to wait for the river

      River: (228.72 BB, 2 players) 3:spade:

MP shows A:spade: A:diamond: (One Pair, Aces) (Pre 82%, Flop 92%, Turn 95%)
Hero shows K:spade: K:club: (One Pair, Kings) (Pre 18%, Flop 8%, Turn 5%)
      MP wins 220.72 BB

Flop: With K I think calling may be better. I also prefer slowplaying AA and I prefer raising QQ. JJ is too weak to raise though.

With your hand I think a min-raise might be better. I just don't like the coordination on that flop and while I don't think MP connects too well with it, the UTG fish very well might with his 66/88/98s type of hands so in fact I think min-raising to 30 with most of your overpairs seems better.

Turn: You probably need to raise now.
