villain playing 36/36 through 14 hands
only 1 tabling, so is a possible rec player.

decision really comes down to river play. im not sure if it is better to check/call vs a ton of missed draws (realize 75 got there) or to bet vs villain's likely Qx type holdings.

im not sure if a rec player would jam missed draws on river, so is it better to just jam and hope for calls vs Qx?

Flop: The raise size is a little too large but if CO is a recreational player I suppose it doesn't really matter.

River: Vs a recreational player shoving is going to be by far the superior play. You are not only not guaranteed that he would bluff especially when he could be passive, but the EV of value betting with monsters is in general, higher than the EV of inducing as a bluff.

Besides, you can have many other weaker hands to induce as a bluff. I don't see any need to use a set as a bluff catcher - I think it's a complete waste. And the only times I really consider c/r river with a set is on boards with super many busted draws and it's also better if you have top set which blocks off Top pair combos.

E.g. J:hJ on J:dT:d6:s5:s3. I would bet twice and then check/push river in this case, cos it's really hard for villain to have JX which can call thrice, and also JTX boards have so many busted straight and flush draws.
