      Villain unknown,
      River sizing?

I expected Ax & two pair to fold, so I thought about just shoving to get calls from Tx.

Or do you think I should bet small to get crying calls from 2pair+? felt like I was missing value vs Tx if I bet small though.

      BTN: $50 (100 bb)
      SB: $43.25 (86.5 bb)
      BB: $46.79 (93.6 bb)
      Hero (UTG): $64.17 (128.3 bb)
      MP: $56.65 (113.3 bb)
      CO: $63.15 (126.3 bb)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with J T
Hero raises to $1.50, MP folds, CO calls $1.50, 3 folds

      Flop: ($3.75) 9 8 A (2 players)
Hero bets $2.50, CO calls $2.50

      Turn: ($8.75) 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $6.50, CO calls $6.50

      River: ($21.75) 6 (2 players)
      Hero bets $17.50, CO folds

      Results:
      $21.75 pot ($0.98 rake)
      Final Board: 9 8 A 7 6
      Hero mucked J T and won $20.77 ($10.27 net)
CO mucked and lost (-$10.50 net)

      Hey Danny,

I like overbetting more. Tx will never fold and most 2pair/sets raise earlier at least 50% of the time imo so you are not targetting a wide range of such hands. Maybe Ax can get a call but it's not worth betting small enough to get Ax to call while missing value from Tx.

I think that it is better to bet small here, e.g 1/3 - 1/2 to get called by Ax, and if we bet small, and our opponent has Tx he would probably think we have set, two pair, Ax and betting small for thin value, and would most likely raise us with Tx, then we can shove and it is hard for him to fold.

So I think this way, we get value from both. And if we bet 3/4 pot size, I think Tx just calls most of the time so we miss value.

I find it harder for Tx to call a 3bet than an overbet so I think we end up getting the same value from Tx as when we bet a normal amount just that we get some extra from some 2pair, rarely Ax.
