Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BTN with 9  A :club:
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.20, SB raises to $0.90, 1 fold, Hero raises to $2.30, SB calls $1.40

      Flop: ($4.70) 8 :club: 5 :club: K :club: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.10, SB calls $1.10

      Turn: ($6.90) 3 :diamond: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $2.10, SB calls $2.10

      River: ($11.10) K  (2 players)
      SB bets $5.27, Hero folds

      bb stats: resteal sb/43(7), 3bet/11,5(26), ftcbet/29

Preflop: Prob mistake to raise 2x with effective stack sizes of 150bb. I would now raise 3x. 4bet = 1 blocker + IP + crazy guy. Prob mistake with sizing.
Flop: should bet around 1,80. Idea was to induce light raise and 3bet him. He never has strong K, KQc or 88. Put him on a bunch pp, pp+fd, flush like QJc, QTc, JTc and K9c,KTc, maybe KJc.
      Turn: again too small.
River: wanted to shove. He is representing a few combos of K which he is most of the time raising the turn if not on the flop. Prob the same pay with flush.

      Hello,

Preflop I don't mind 4betting, but I would rather make it around $2.6.

On the flop I'd bet around $2-$2.3.

As played, since the turn doesn't really change much, I would rather take the free river.

The river is an easy fold. I doubt we have any fold equity here.

      Best,
      Plamen

Can you please determine his range? I just can't see value hands taking this line. If he has resteal 44 and ftcbet 29 he is turning a lots of hands( pairs) into a bluffs

You are giving me quite a hard mission to determine somebody's range who could probably not know it himself, but I would give it a try.

So, you probably need to understand first that 3/7 resteal isn't telling us much, as it could easily be just a heater for him, so we shouldn't make any general assumptions.

Then, the fact that he doesn't fold to cbets a lot does not necessarily mean that he is turning hands into bluff - he could easily play those ones passively and from my personal experience check/call, check/call bet is rarely a bluff, especially when it comes down to 4bet pots.

So, lets get back to the range:
When he flats preflop I wouldn't really discount strong hands such as AK/QQ and even sometimes KK, AA. He could have also hands like KQ/KJ and pairs like TT/JJ as well.
So basically, I would guess it is something like 99-QQ, AA-KK (half of the combos), AJs+, AQo+, KQs/KJs.
