Preflop: Hero is CO with J J

      Flop: ($10.50) 3 5 7 (2 players)
SB bets $6.50, Hero calls $6.50

      Turn: ($23.50) 2 (2 players)
      SB checks, Hero checks

Should I bet the turn here? He is either check/folding, or check/raising most of the time I think, and I turn my hand into a bluff, as I don't want to call a check/rAI here. So I didn't see too much value in betting, but lot of rivers are bad for us.

Assuming this is true you have 2 options.

      1. check back.

      2. Underbet the pot. You protect your hand, get a small amount of value, price in some of the range that normally check/folds and make a check-raise slightly less attractive for villain. Line is unorthodox but I've had a lot of success with it in 3bet pots.
