Hi, MP open is maybe a bit loose, but BB was a pretty loose fish over a small sample.

      BU 43/29/14 hands.
Maybe another reason not to open since he seems loose also & I will be playing OOP.

Good spot for the third barrel? I think he's capped at like Tx so I can make him fold 99 8x, better FD's if he is loose enough to call two streets.

Sizing? if his range is weak I could prob bet smaller, but just wanted to have max FE vs any pair.

      BTN: $39.75 (79.5 bb)
      SB: $97.75 (195.5 bb)
      BB: $71.77 (143.5 bb)
      UTG: $46.05 (92.1 bb)
      Hero (MP): $57.25 (114.5 bb)
      CO: $66.66 (133.3 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 7 9
UTG folds, Hero raises to $1.50, CO folds, BTN calls $1.50, 2 folds

      Flop: ($3.75) T 2 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $2.50, BTN calls $2.50

      Turn: ($8.75) 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $6.50, BTN calls $6.50

      River: ($21.75) 5 (2 players)
      Hero bets $30, BTN folds

      $21.75 pot ($0.98 rake)
      Final Board: T 2 8 5 5
BTN mucked and lost (-$10.50 net)
      Hero mucked 7 9 and won $20.77 ($10.27 net)

      Hey Danny,

Preflop is loose but probably OK given weak BB and BU, although loose-ish it seems, he won't really put pressure on you.

With your hand I would think about check/raising the flop as well.. You check/fold this often given your MP range and people will bet IP a lot too. You have a hand that would love to just get it in on the flop so c/r flop quite big and shove turn seems like a good option.

As played, the third barrel is OK.. your hand never wins at showdown, you had great equity all the way so bluffing this hand won't increase your bluff frequency too much. Sizing wise, 1.5x pot is probably OK.. overbets to gain you more folding equity, but it's not always the highest EV and it's tough to really estimate that.
