Bad beats are part of poker, no matter how good you are. They will keep coming and there's nothing you can do to stop bad beats. Sick things happen all the time and one day something sick (but good) will happen to you.

We can soften the impact of our bad beats though, by increasing our win rate. By making better decisions generally we lower the chance of a losing session due to bad beats. Let's say you and someone else played exactly the same 1000 hands, and during the 1000 hands got all in pre with AA vs KK twice and lost both times. However you played those 1000 hands better than the other guy. Your gained 1BI more in value than the other guy and the other guy lost 1 BI because of calling mistakes. The end result: you are actually break even for the session but the other guy is down 4BI. Were bad beats the cause of this massive difference? It is not. But whenever we look at our losing session we always blame the bad beats first. (I admit I am one of them)

So my best advice to you is: Study more, keep improving your game. If you feel tilted, play less, rest/study more!

Second hand you complain about opponent winning with 18% equity but you called his flop raise with 7% equity and sucked out on turn. Putting in $1 vs a raise with 88 on KQT flop is definitely a mistake with $10 behind. Should be an instafold.

Its very easy to get angry to protect the ego when opponent makes a mistake, but just because opponent makes a mistake doesn't mean you didn't as well so its always good to be objective if you can and see if you really did "play correctly" because in hand 2 you certainly didn't. :)

Keep on grinding and you'll get there.

Yes I agree I did not play the second hand correctly but I d have folded on the turn, and I mis read the board thinking I could also make a lower straight (giving me also reverse implied odds, but only if I had 99), anyway I had to call 0.50 with a pot of 2.50, he is not like calling 6.01 in a pot of 6.05, he is calling pot raise basically...

Had a situation like hand three last night.

Raised with AT suited from mp3 got raised by the button and a call from the BB......I capped. Flop came AT9 with a two flush....... pot was 14BB.
I pot bet, the button shoved, BB called and so did I with three all in.
The problem with this situation was thinking I was a shoe-in without considering what I was up against before acting. When my two ops showed AKs and AQs I was ecstatic. .......until a K turned!
As I sat there with a zero balance I decided (like always!!) that my luck sucked and I was going to stop playing........but I also started replaying in my mind how I SHOULD have played it. I played a marginal hand PF and got 'lucky' with the flop......if I had simply called the flop raise and assessed the turn actions, I could have maybe made a good fold and saved some money. I think these are beats that good players, playing their A game avoid.
The plus point having lost 100BB stack is the rest of the evening my thought process was more.......'who am I playing (tight, loose, etc) and whats he getting so excited about based on past actions and how do I maximise with the least risk to me?
That bad beat earned me a 500+ BB gain in the following 3hrs (I've never earned that much in a week before) so it was a beat worth taking.....no?

Thats the problem with AA and KK........you win small or loose big with them. I think most people would have done the same though!

I have also had lower full houses but I think get broke with a full house is normal... and sometimes is normal to lose. But call all-inn or push all inn when you have in the same session 80% and lose... very disappointing because lately I am running really bad...
