      CO: 285.42 BB (VPIP: 21.43, PFR: 10.71, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 28)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has A:spade: J:spade:

UTG raises to 2 BB, fold, CO calls 2 BB, fold, fold, Hero calls 1 BB

      Flop: (6.5 BB, 3 players) 8:heart: J:heart: 8:spade:
Hero checks, UTG bets 2 BB, CO raises to 6 BB, Hero calls 6 BB, UTG calls 4 BB

      Turn: (24.5 BB, 3 players) 8:diamond:
Hero checks, UTG bets 16 BB, CO calls 16 BB, Hero calls 16 BB

      River: (72.5 BB, 3 players) 3:spade:
Hero checks, UTG checks, CO bets 56 BB, Hero calls 56 BB, fold

CO shows KK and wins 179.5 BB

UTG raiser is lagtard fish with ~50% RFI after 30 or so hands
      CO is reg-ish with 36/22 after 55 hands, 0% 3bet.

I didn't opt to 3bet because I thought a lot of the time UTG is not going to fold and just gonna use his position on me, and called given that I actually am getting odds to play fit or fold and will get paid off quite nicely when I hit.

For the river call, I did want to fold because I don't think I am ever getting better than a chop in this spot and his line looks so strong but if I fold AJ I am only continuing with quads here which isn't a good look.

For some reason I felt like it wasn't a cooler and I should have found a fold.

Since the pot odds are 31%, If he never has worse than Jx I need him to have Jx 62% of the time to call river right?

      Hi Metza,

Preflop: why not 3-bet this preflop versus 2 potential fish and minraises? You have a great hand versus two potential fish so the last thing I'd want to do is play fit/fold. We can 3-bet for value and to gain initiative.

Postflop: Given you are 3-way it's less likely that both will have a lower pair than hours and putting so money into the pot so I do agree that it's closer to a fold.

And I doubt he ever has worse than Jx and yes he needs to have twice as often (as your pot odds) Jx to break even, so in other words close to 2 in 3 hands.

However, I feel that Jx would bet smaller on the river.
